The website contains general information
about Chile, the long and narrow country on the other side of the
Pacific Ocean. Despite the distance with the Philippines, we are somehow
neighbors, with the ocean as a geographical link between our countries. It is even possible that our ancestors visited each other
thousands of years
ago
following maritime events. Anthropologists and archeologists are
studying this very interesting subject.
Historically speaking, we have a common
denominator --- our countries'
culture and language were greatly influenced by Spain over three
centuries.
You will also find useful information about the Embassy, and the
